WBUR's Inside Out Documentary Unit:
Anna Bensted, Executive Producer
Bensted spent 15 years with BBC Radio in London, Edinburgh and
Boston. She produced and presented a current affairs program in
England and set up a daily arts show in Scotland. In 1993 and
1994, she produced a series of programs for the BBC about change
in America which won the UK's Sony Radio Award.
Sean Cole, Senior Reporter
Cole joined the WBUR Newsroom in the spring of 1997. He has worked
both on the production and reporting of stories for Morning Edition
and Here and Now and he has also contributed features to the public
radio programs This American Life, Only a Game, All Things Considered,
The Next Big Thing and Marketplace, among others. He has received
two RTNDA regional awards, one for Best Feature one for Use of
Sound. In March of 2004, the Boston- based press Pressed Wafer
released a short collection of his poems entitled Itty City.
George Hicks, Technical Director
Hicks spent 15 years as a freelance recording engineer and record
producer before joining WBUR. He mixed and co-produced "A Day
In the Life of Boston" for WBUR's City Stories series in 1998.
In the past year he has served as interim technical director for
various WBUR shows.
